New York High
It's like any other school, basically. You've got your nerds, your jocks, your freaks, your cheerleaders. Just a slight change.
This is New York.
The hype started in nineteen-seventy-three when a man named William Jay Barrett III founded the New York Academy. This all boy's school was soon taken over in nineteen-eighty-one by his third eldest son, John Jay Barrett. In nineteen-ninety, he spun the school into a different direction by boarding in women as well as men. Thomas, his son, took the building over. Not too long afterwards, though, the son died of cancer in two thousand and one. His younger brother William would have taken in the school if Thomas' wife, Terri, wasn't entitled to the academy in Thomas' will. Their son Francis II would take it over when Terri couldn't. After a year of closing down in two thousand and one helped to give it some remodeling, and was now equipped with the latest in technologies.
Now, the school is open to both genders freely and consumes some of the brightest and dumbest minds in America. It's part of the diverse culture in New York, which is barely twenty minutes away from the school grounds. Friskier than ever before, New York High is the epiphany of drama.
Welcome to America's hot spot.
